Natural Glam Indian Makeup

Deeper eye definition and a defined lip, planned around your outfit and jewellery. If you have a colour in mind, such as gold, bronze or a deep red lip, send a photo and we will build the look from it.

Defined eyes in a smoky or winged shape, with contour, highlight and a stronger lip. It suits receptions, festivals and evening parties, and it holds up in photos under bright lighting

A light, even finish with soft eye definition, a touch of blush and a natural lip. It suits family functions, engagement parties and daytime events, and takes about 1 hour.

Indian Hair Styling

Hair is offered alongside makeup, not as a separate hairdressing service. It costs $55 to $90 depending on the style, so tell us what you want when you book.

Curls & Soft Waves

Soft curls or loose waves with the hair worn down. They sit well with statement earrings and a dupatta draped over one shoulder.

A smooth, straightened finish that keeps attention on the makeup and the jewellery. It works well for outfits with a lot of detail.

Part of the hair pinned back and the rest left down, with curls or waves through the length. It keeps the hair off your face and shows off your earrings..

If you prefer a braid, we can do it for you. More detailed braids need extra time and may cost more.

Jewellery and hair accessories

Bring your maang tikka, hair pins, flowers or any other accessory to the appointment. Tell us in advance which ones you are wearing so we can plan the hairstyle around them.

Indian bridal makeup on the Central Coast and Hunter Valley

Bridal makeup is $180, or $250 with hair. Allow about 2-3 hours for makeup and hair, so the morning can be planned back from the time you need to be ready. For confirmed bookings we can start as early as 3am.

Indian weddings often have more than one event, and we can book makeup for each one. An engagement party, bridal shower or pre-wedding shoot can double as your trial.

Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom and flower girls can all be included. One travel fee covers the group when everyone is getting ready in the same place on the same day.

Indian / South Asian makeup on the Central Coast

Glow By Aasmi has been taking bookings since February 2022. Aasmi completed a 280-hour advanced makeup course at Harman Makeup Academy (November 2021 to January 2022) and a three-day makeup artist masterclass with Sherree Morris in April 2025. The kit includes Chanel, Armani Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury, and every brush and tool is sanitised after each client.

Many Indian outfits and events call for richer colour, stronger eyes and makeup that lasts through a long day. We plan the look around your outfit, your jewellery and the event, and we match foundation and concealer to your skin tone and undertone before we start.

Mobile Indian makeup artist service areas

Glow By Aasmi is based in Hamlyn Terrace and travels to you across the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley, including winery and vineyard venues. We bring our own kit, portable lighting and a makeup chair, so a small or dim room is fine. We also travel to Sydney for some bookings.

Central Coast suburbs we cover

The Hunter Valley is about an hour from Hamlyn Terrace. For the Hunter Valley and Sydney the travel fee depends on distance, and a group getting ready at the same place on the same day pays one travel fee.

If your suburb is not on the list, ask us. We cover the whole Central Coast.

Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

What to expect at your appointment

1. Before the day, send us a photo of your outfit, your jewellery and hair accessories, any inspiration photos, and the time you need to be ready by.

2. We arrive with our own kit, portable lighting and chair and set up near the best light in the room.

3. We prepare your skin and match foundation and concealer to your skin tone and undertone.

4. We do your makeup and lashes as agreed, from the eyes and contour through to the lip.

5. If you booked hair, we style it once the makeup is done so nothing smudges.

6. Before we pack up, we check the finished look against your outfit and jewellery in good light, and fix anything you want changed.

We work back from the time you need to be ready, so tell us when the car, the photographer or the ceremony starts.

Choosing your look

Start with the outfit and send us a photo when you book. A few things help us pick the right look:

- Outfit colour. We choose the lip shade with the outfit in front of us, so bright reds, oranges and pinks sit well with it.

- Jewellery. Gold and silver pieces look different against the same eye makeup, so tell us which you are wearing.

- Length of the day. For a long ceremony or a full evening, give us the start and finish times and we will plan the look to last through them.

- Cameras. If a photographer or videographer will be there, let us know so we can allow for camera lighting.

How Long Does Indian Hair & Makeup Take?

Your appointment time can vary depending on your hairstyle, hair length and texture, makeup style and any additional requirements.

Allow approximately 1.5 to 2 Hours for the complete hair and makeup appointment.

If you have a specific time you need to be ready by, include it when enquiring so your appointment can be planned accordingly.

How to prepare for your appointment

A few simple things help the appointment run on time:

- Wash your face and moisturise before we arrive.

- If you booked hair, have your hair clean and dry.

- Wear a top that opens at the front, so you do not have to pull anything over your face afterwards.

- Lay out your outfit, jewellery and hair accessories where we can see them.

- Tell us about any skin sensitivities or allergies when you book.

- Tell us the time you need to be ready by.

Indian Makeup Group Bookings

Families and wedding parties can book together. Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, flower girls and other family members can all be included, and everyone gets ready in the same place. One travel fee covers the whole group when everyone is at the same location on the same day.

- who wants hair as well as makeup

When should you book?

There is no fixed minimum notice, and same-day bookings are sometimes possible. Wedding dates and festival weekends fill early, so ask as soon as you know your date. We usually reply within 1 to 8 hours.

1. Send us your date, the time you need to be ready by and the location, including the suburb.

2. We confirm availability and the price, including travel.

3. A $50 deposit secures your date. The terms are in our booking and refund policy.
